In a game, there are often many values to consider, such as item prices and effects, monster attack power, health, and drop rewards, and the number of monsters in various scenes, and so on. For a classic game like "Undertale," the game economy and value balancing are worth studying. By creating a series of spreadsheets, we analyzed the various aspects of values in Undertale" to explore how the designers mastered the difficulty curve and guided player behavior through simply manipulating numbers.
